What is VoLTE ?
VoLTE stands for Voice over LTE. It is a technology that allows you to make voice calls over a 4G LTE network instead of the traditional 2G or 3G networks¹. VoLTE has up to three times more voice and data capacity than older 3G UMTS and up to six times more than 2G GSM⁴. It uses less bandwidth because VoLTE's packet headers are smaller than those of unoptimized VoIP/LTE⁴. With VoLTE, you can make phone calls with higher-quality audio³.
